Refund Policy

1. Scope

 

This Refund Policy governs all purchases of lessons, packages, workshops, subscriptions, and digital services provided by LUSE English Global, operated by Gökhan Çetinyürür, Istanbul, Türkiye.

It applies to all bookings made through www.luseenglishglobal.com, www.luse-english.com, or any associated platforms.

 

This Policy should be read together with our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy and Terms & Conditions.

 

 

2. General Refund Principle

 

LUSE English Global operates a credit-based refund model, not a cash-refund model.

This means:

 

  • When a session is eligible for cancellation, the session returns to the customer’s active plan as a credit,

  • Monetary refunds are not issued, except in cases required by law (see Section 7 for EU cooling-off rules).

 

 

3. Refund Eligibility

 

 

3.1. Individual Lessons

 

  • If cancelled 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time:

    → The session is credited back to the student’s active plan.

  • If cancelled less than 24 hours before the lesson:

    → The session is forfeited and no credit or refund will be provided.

 

 

3.2. No-shows

 

  • Failure to attend within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time counts as a no-show.

  • No-shows are non-refundable and non-creditable.

 

 

3.3. Late attendance

 

Joining late does not extend the session and does not qualify for a refund or credit.

 

 

4. Packages & Plans

 

 

4.1. User-Selected Start Date

 

Package validity begins on the user-selected start date, not the purchase date.

 

 

4.2. Package Refunds

 

Packages are non-refundable once purchased.

Eligible cancellations result in session credits, not monetary refunds.

 

 

4.3. Expiry

 

Unused sessions automatically expire at the end of the package validity period and are not eligible for refunds or reactivation.

 

 

4.4. Partial Refunds

 

Partial refunds for unused sessions are not provided, unless required by law or due to provider-initiated circumstances described in Section 6.

 

 

5. Group Sessions & Workshops

 

Because group seats are limited:

 

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event:

    → Eligible for credit only.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event:

    → Non-creditable and non-refundable.

  • If the event is cancelled by LUSE English Global:

    → Students may choose a credit or a free transfer to another session.

 

 

6. Provider-Initiated Cancellations

 

If LUSE English Global cancels a scheduled lesson due to instructor illness, technical issues, or operational reasons:

 

  • The student may receive a replacement session, or

  • A session credit returned to their plan.

 

If cancellations or disruptions occur repeatedly (two or more times within 60 days), a pro-rata monetary refund may be considered at the customer’s request.

 

 

7. EU Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

 

If you are an EU consumer purchasing online, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal, unless you choose to begin services early.

 

 

7.1. If you request lessons to begin during the 14-day period

 

You acknowledge that:

 

  • You owe a pro-rated amount for any sessions already delivered;

  • Completed sessions cannot be refunded;

  • Remaining unused sessions may be refunded minus the value of the completed ones.

 

 

7.2. Digital materials

 

Digital learning content delivered immediately with your consent is not refundable under EU law once access has begun.

 

 

7.3. How to exercise withdrawal

 

Email info@luseenglishglobal.com with your full name, order number, and a clear withdrawal request.

 

 

8. Technical Issues

 

 

8.1. Student-side issues

 

Connectivity or device problems on the student’s side do not qualify for refunds or credits.

 

 

8.2. Provider-side issues

 

If a verified technical issue on our side prevents the lesson from taking place for 10 minutes or more, the session will be credited back to the student’s plan.

 

 

9. Chargebacks

 

Students must contact LUSE English Global prior to initiating any chargeback.

Chargebacks that contradict this Policy or documented session logs will be disputed with the payment processor.
